About the role
- Support global category managers in implementing procurement strategies for production equipment
- Market analysis and identification of potential suppliers
- Responsibility for tendering/RFP for production equipment
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers
- Evaluation and selection of suppliers
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Participate in project teams and collaborate with internal departments
- Ensure on-time delivery of production equipment
- Monitor and improve supplier performance
- Preparation of reports and analyses to support decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in procurement and supplier management, ideally in the area of production facilities
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems and other procurement software
- Knowledge of market trends and the supplier landscape in the area of production facilities
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Proven project management skills
- Experience in Swiss (contract) law
- Personal expression and open dialogue encouraged
- Genuine connections in a diverse culture
