About the role

  • Lead the global sourcing team for general cargo within TTL.
  • Drive the implementation of the TTL strategy in close collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Own the end-to-end RFI and RFQ process for general cargo, including award proposal preparation and approvals.
  • Directly manage procurement for air and ocean freight.
  • Oversee and optimize the global supplier base for general cargo.
  • Manage supplier performance (e.g., service levels, on-time delivery) and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in cost, quality, and sustainability.
  • Analyze internal and external cost trends to drive savings and efficiency.
  • Maintain commodity guidelines by tracking market prices and forecasting cost impacts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess market developments and align sourcing strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • More than 15 years of proven experience in global sourcing, including air and ocean freight.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • The ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 15–20%.
