Perform clearing and settlement of futures, futures options, and event contract trades
Review daily trade, position, and cash reconciliations and analyze trade and position reconciliations
Processing of trade corrections, cash discrepancies, and position breaks
Research, prioritize, and resolve futures and event contract related customer escalations
Review regulatory reports to ensure proper compliance and ensure adherence to firm procedures and industry regulations
Keep detailed records in accordance with standard operating procedures
Work on initial setup of futures and event contract operational processes, tools, documentation, and workflows
Coordinate with product and engineering partners to translate business and regulatory requirements to enhance futures operational processes
Act as a key partner with Compliance and cross functional teams to document and maintain processes and WSPs
Develop, manage, and continuously improve processes for scale to help RHD Operations meet goals
Work with third party clearing firms, exchanges, vendors, and internal teams (CX, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Financial Crimes, Finance, Customer Trust and Safety) to meet customer needs and expectations
Requirements
A demonstrated history of operational excellence and problem solving
4+ years of experience in Brokerage Operations, Financial Services, or related field
Strong understanding of futures market, event contracts and back office clearing
Exceptional leadership, communication, time management, problem solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated expertise in Excel, with the ability to leverage advanced functions for data analysis and decision-making
Familiarity with SQL is highly desirable
Strong collaboration and influencing skills to work with colleagues across the company
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple daily tasks and projects with various deadlines
Active Series 3 or ability to obtain within 90 days
Ability to pass NFA Swaps Proficiency Exam within 90 days
Willingness to work in Chicago office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week
