About the role

  • Provide technical support to the external sales team for questions related to the assigned product groups
  • Serve as a point of contact and provide support for internal sales staff (order processing & sales administrators)
  • Provide operational and technical sales support for field sales (including technical inquiries to Volvo CE and third-party suppliers)
  • Contribute to pricing decisions and the development of pricing strategies
  • Assist in creating price lists for the assigned product groups (including maintaining relevant ERP system data)
  • Monitor and analyze the market to capture customer requirements and to develop and implement product improvements
  • Prepare training materials as well as organize and conduct internal training sessions
  • Configure and cost inventory, pre-delivery, rental, and demo machines
  • Review the technical feasibility of projects
  • Ensure correct order processing and help find solutions for technical issues and complaints

Requirements

  • Completed degree or vocational training in a commercial or technical field
  • Professional experience in internal sales or a comparable position is an advantage
  • Good technical understanding
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and self-organization
  • Quick comprehension of complex technical relationships
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good command of English
