About the role
- Lead and manage the inside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Provide ongoing one-on-one coaching across the full sales cycle including prospecting, development, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing
- Conduct joint customer calls, phone observations, and sales strategy planning sessions
- Train and develop team members to strengthen sales skills and product knowledge
- Develop and execute territory and sales action plans
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics and pipeline activity
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve team performance
- Ensure efficient use of CRM systems and sales tools
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new sales representatives
- Continuously refine interviewing and selection processes
- Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and growth
- Represent Sales in cross-functional business reviews and strategy discussions
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership to drive sales initiatives
- Address escalated client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Compile and present sales reports to senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of sales management or supervisory experience
- 5+ years of successful B2B or professional services sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales professionals to achieve results
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and sales performance
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Experience tracking team performance and implementing improvement plans
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually for company or industry events
- Experience managing teams in hybrid work environments
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex client conversations
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Experience in commercial real estate tax or property tax consulting
