Payroll

• Check accuracy of hours worked on timesheets.
• Enter payroll data for salary, overtime, deductions and allowances into Smart Pay for talent and monthly payrolls.
• Run payroll for every period and generate preliminary payroll register with worksheets for review and approval.
• Prepare payroll journals and enter in accounting software (Multiview).
• Print payroll deduction reports (due within 2 days are payroll) and pass to Accounts Payable Clerks for processing and dispatch to respective entities.
• Prepare monthly pension report outlining employees’ and employer’s contribution and submit to Account Payables by the end of the month and upload journal entry on accounting software (Multiview)
• File statutory returns (SO1) on Tax Administration Jamaica Rais system by the end of the month.
• Prepare Annual Payroll Reports (SO2) and submit Tax Administration Jamaica Rais system by the stipulated deadlines.
• Prepare bank reconciliation month and audit schedule for annual audits.
• Prepare, record, reconcile, and maintain the fixed asset schedule monthly
