About the role
- Supports to create an informed, engaged and aligned team which enables business performance and a positive workplace culture.
- Plans and delivers clear, timely and compelling communications that support business goals.
- Manages internal communications channels including the intranet and streamed events.
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships across the business to understand communication requirements.
- Uses formal and informal measurement to review communication against objectives.
Requirements
- Experience developing and delivering internal communications to an operational workforce across multiple locations
- Experience producing content for a variety of mediums (e.g. intranet articles, townhall scripts, printed materials)
- Experience managing communication channels, including digital platforms
- Experience advising and influencing senior leaders on communication approaches, including aligning messages and channels to difference audiences
- Ability to successfully build and manage stakeholder relationships
- Strong written communications, verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a changing environment and/or with ambiguity
- Comfortable working independently, including visiting other workplace locations to generate content
- Good organisational, planning and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using new and innovative communication channels (desirable)
- Experience creating and editing videos (desirable)
- Experience using graphic design software and tools (e.g. Canva) (desirable)
- Experience of supporting cultural or organisational change through internal communications (desirable)
- Experience of employer brand communications (desirable)
