Sales

• Prospect for new business, developing relationships with builders, developers, property managers and others.
• Plan and maintain adequate cold and warm calls/leads to cover market
• Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements and project preferences
• Conduct site inspections and assessments.
• Prepare and present proposals in complete and professional manner, according to company standards
• Draft design concepts that align with customer needs and budget
• Create a final design using computer-aided design software
• Ensure all estimates are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting to customer
• Prepare and present approved proposals in a complete and professional manner
• Maintain records and track all proposals in progress and make timely follow-ups to maximize sales opportunities.
• Aggressively pursue all proposals in progress
• Effective communication with project managers to ensure customer satisfaction
• Anticipate customer needs with positive solutions in a timely manner, assists in the sales of change orders and extra contracted work
• Conduct customer walk-throughs and collect payments if necessary
• Awareness of billing and collection status on all projects/customers.
• Advise on credits or collections and work with production and/or customer to get any collection issues resolved for work sold
• Develop repeat and/or referral business from customers
• Assist with overall sales and marketing initiatives for Company
• Respond to all inquiries and requests for bid in a timely manner

Landscape Designer/Sales

General

• Oversee and coordinate a crew of two to four employees to process work orders
• Daily equipment maintenance must be completed
• Support other seasonal services as necessary
• Keep jobs on schedule and on budget while meeting production rates and maintaining quality standards
• Ensure safety procedures are followed
• Prepare vehicles and equipment for the day’s work
• Demonstrate customer service and professionalism
