Review accruals, working papers and prepare complex accounting entries.
Prepare variance analysis for complex areas on P&L and Balance Sheet.
Review balance sheet account reconciliations and provide feedback to enhance quality.
Review statutory compliance reporting and provide feedback to optimize and enhance.
Lead enhancements in SOX program and business processes, which can include defining new processes through to implementation.
Ensure the timeliness of the Control team’s day-to-day tasks through regular check-in’s and providing updates to the Controller.
Provide insights and guidance as a reliable and knowledgeable specialist in the Control Team.
Provide guidance and mentorship to the Control team members
Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

3-5 years of relevant experience preferred in an accounting or finance role.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. Oracle is an asset.
Solid understanding of bookkeeping competencies.
Excellent mathematical skills.
Time management skills.
Professional office environment
