About the role
- Responds to all walk in business for the TM assigned to that territory
- Measure and create metrics and report outcomes to Sales Team and Management
- Responds to sales related calls/enquiries for the sale site
- Liaison between HO departments and the customer and TM
- Actively researches available sources to identify likely prospects
- Determines decision-making authority and develops strategies
- Manages customer prospecting to connect with future customers
- Generates customer interest in Ritchie Bros.
- Schedules follow-up sales calls
- Performs sales calls and assists with contracts and appraisals
Requirements
- Some High School education
- Ability to negotiate contracts
- Knowledge of sales metrics and reporting
- Strong research skills
- Ability to identify customer needs and prospects.
