About the role
- Advise and challenge Director - VP level leaders on talent, structure, processes and leadership effectiveness, translating business strategy into scalable people solutions.
- Lead org design, workforce planning, and change initiatives in partnership with business leaders, finance and VP PBP to ensure efficient, scalable structures.
- Coach leaders on talent cultivation and complex employee relations situations drive consistent, high-quality execution of people processes and programs.
- Partner with leadership and TA on Director+ and critical hires, advising on selection, interview quality, and offer strategy.
- Partner with COE’s to implement and consistently improve talent cultivation processes.
- Ensure data integrity and leverage people data and to diagnose issues, track progress, and inform strategic people actions aligned to broader priorities.
- Resolve employee relations matters with sound judgment, ensuring fair, compliant outcomes and high-trust employee experience partnering with in-house counsel as needed.
- Lead cross-functional People initiatives that strengthen capabilities, processes, and impact of the People Team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to advise Dir + senior leaders, influence decisions, and drive people outcomes aligned to business growth.
- Proven experience leading or shaping people programs and change initiatives, with a strong understanding of talent acquisition, organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and manager capability in growing or evolving organizations.
- Strong strategic judgment, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative information to identify patterns, assess risk, and translate people insights into practical guidance for leaders.
- Experience supporting organizations through meaningful transformation, such as scaling or shifts in ways of working, with the ability to help leaders navigate change thoughtfully and sustainably.
- Experience in high growth, transformation, or PE backed environments where pace, ambiguity, and rigor are the norm.
- Ability to exert executive influence and impact and willingness to execute operational responsibilities.
- Experience in companies in progressive HR function, modernizing people processes and leveraging technology (including HR systems, analytics, or emerging AI-enabled tools) to improve decision-making, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
- Experience in $1B+ or similarly complex organizations and role a must
- Hand-on experience with Workday
- Prior support of Marketing and/or Operations functions
- Experience in mission driven, education or ed tech industry a plus.
