About the role
- Implement and optimize financial systems with a strong focus on NetSuite
- Analyze system issues, triage bugs, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions
- Gather business requirements and design solutions
- Hands-on configuration, scripting, testing, and continuous support
- Collaborate with integration and automation teams to automate key financial processes and workflows
- Interview business users to identify opportunities for automation
- Understand, document, and propose optimizations for system processes
- Develop and maintain documentation related to modifying business processes and systems
- Participate in systems implementation projects including requirements documentation and system configuration
- Solve technical/systems issues by investigating system configurations, integrations, and APIs
- Optimize Finance systems and processes to scale with organizational growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, customizing, developing and integrating Enterprise applications or SaaS software (e.g.: NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Coupa, Concur)
- Good functional and configuration level understanding of areas including but not limited to ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing
- Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, and data mapping concepts
- Experience in NetSuite scripting and development
- Experience with building web services integrations (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with integration APIs
- Proven ability to perform research and analysis on new technologies, including AI solutions
- Knowledge of automation tools such as UiPath or RPA platforms is a bonus
- Experience with system integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, Celigo) is a plus
- Proven ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly
- Must be customer centric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships
- Must be a self-starter, deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical parties
