About the role
- Lead the design, development, customization, and optimization of ServiceNow platform components
- Design and develop custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine
- Implement complex workflows and automations
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other supported technologies
- Perform data modeling and mapping for CMDB and other ServiceNow tables
- Translate functional and business requirements into technical solutions
- Support solution architects in technical design decisions
- Validate technical estimates, development approaches, risks, and dependencies
- Ensure solutions comply with ServiceNow best practices and Rimini Street internal standards
- Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and act as a guardian of technical quality across projects
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Support integrated testing, defect analysis, and resolution
- Actively collaborate in Agile ceremonies
- Serve as a technical reference for junior and mid-level developers
- Participate in technical workshops, requirement sessions, and demos
- Support Go-Live activities and post-go-live clarifications
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
- ServiceNow certifications CSA, CAD, and CIS ITSM are mandatory for senior level
- Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration and configuration
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, and XML
- Extensive experience developing integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server)
- Strong experience with ITSM, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB
- Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complexity, technical risks, and multiple priorities effectively
- Language fluency in both English & Portuguese is required.
