About the role

  • Provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications
  • Researching, troubleshooting, and supporting of multiple SAP modules
  • Writing code using ABAP programming language on the basis of the blueprint provided by the clients
  • Ensuring that all programs are completed in schedule as per the client's guidelines
  • Providing technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting guidelines and modifications
  • Design, build, and operate services on SAP BTP including setup of Destinations, Connectivity/Cloud Connector, and XSUAA
  • Develop and expose APIs on BTP including API Management policies
  • Implement event-driven integrations using SAP Event Mesh
  • Deliver cloud services with SAP CAP (Node/Java) and service exposure with ABAP RAP
  • Establish CI/CD for SAP development
  • Optimize performance and stability by running SQLM/ST05/SAT traces
  • Harden security and compliance
  • Integrate with BW/Analytics
  • Support Brazil localization scenarios
  • Own incident response under SLA
  • Drive knowledge transfer through technical documentation and KT sessions

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in the field of ABAP and FIORI programming and SAP modules
  • 5+ years’ experience in BTP (administration and integration skills)
  • 3+ years knowledge of SAP systems such as FI/CO, MM and SD is also required
  • Prior experience in object-oriented programming, ABAP lists and other related fields
  • A track record of successful bug free codes written for clients
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP ( Cloud Foundry, Destinations, Connectivity , CI/CD pipelines).
  • Design and exposure of OData/REST APIs and API Management on BTP.
  • Experience with SAP CAP (Node/Java) and ABAP RAP programming models.
  • Proven ability to develop and troubleshoot Brazil localization requirements (Nota Fiscal, tax determination, fiscal document processing).
  • Advanced performance analysis and optimization using SAP tools (SQLM, ST05, SAT, ATC).
  • Collaboration with BW/Analytics teams (custom extractors, ETL routines, error handling).
  • Security best practices for ABAP and BTP developments (authorization checks, secrets management, audit logging).
  • Experience working in highly customized environments (Z routines, user-exits, enhancements).
  • Ability to handle critical incidents and working under SLA-driven environments.
  • Proven track record in documentation and knowledge transfer activities (such as KT sessions, producing runbooks, and solution documentation).
  • Deep working knowledge and understanding of supporting business processes
  • Analytical, logical problem resolution skills
  • SAP certification(s) preferred.
  • Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple modules.
  • Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture.
