About the role

  • Help architect Rillet's long-term platform vision and infrastructure roadmap as we scale.
  • Partner with product and engineering leaders to influence investment in fundamental foundation
  • Own and deliver high-stakes platform initiatives — from developer tooling to reliability infrastructure
  • Champion engineering excellence by building scalable, observable, and resilient systems
  • Lead, mentor, and unlock potential in talented engineers while building a world-class platform engineering culture
  • Recruit and onboard exceptional engineers to help scale our infrastructure
  • Stay hands-on with the codebase during this critical growth phase

Requirements

  • 3+ years managing platform or infrastructure engineering teams at product-driven tech companies (5+ years in engineering)
  • Deep expertise in building and scaling software platforms, internal tooling, and core infrastructure
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who translates seamlessly between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and modern platform tooling
