About the role

  • Lead End-to-End Product Design: Own the entire UX/UI process for consumer-facing and internal products - discovery through delivery - while evolving our design process.
  • Champion UX Research: Conduct user and stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and iterative design validation to generate actionable insights.
  • Craft Exceptional UI: Design accessible, engaging interfaces that exceed user expectations and delight visually.
  • Own & Evolve Design Systems: Drive the development and maintenance of scalable, consistent design system, integrated with engineering workflows.
  • Drive Innovation: Explore new design paradigms, AI tools, motion design, and interaction models to elevate the product experience.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders; review, ideate, and iterate with design team.
  • Facilitate Ideation & Alignment: Lead collaborative workshops that foster creativity, clarity, and team alignment.
  • Enable Others Through Design Tools: Create systems and guidelines that empower non-designers to contribute while maintaining consistency.
  • Apply AI in Practice: Leverage AI to accelerate user research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and more.
  • Manage high-impact projects and influence product strategy through research.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience designing UX/UI for web and mobile products, with 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end design thinking, UX research, innovation, and visual excellence.
  • Deep experience owning and evolving design systems.
  • Mastery of Figma, usability testing tools, and modern AI-enhanced design tools.
  • Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, and methods like JTBD.
  • Excellent skills in motion design, transitions, and micro-interactions that enhance usability.
  • Strong presenter, facilitator, and influencer; you communicate clearly and guide discussions with confidence.
  • A self-starter with a high level of initiative and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Ability to join 9 am EST calls (preferably EST location).
  • Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees.
  • Bonus: Degree in UX, HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, Visual Design, or related field.
  • Bonus: Experience in healthcare product design.
  • Bonus: Background in business analysis, requirements gathering, product/project management.
  • A high-quality portfolio and a short design challenge presentation will be part of the interview process.
