About the role

  • Lead a team of engineers developing AI-powered agent workflows and infrastructure embedded in Ridgeline’s unified cloud platform
  • Collaborate with product, AI, and design leaders to align technical strategy with customer value and roadmap priorities
  • Contribute to the codebase during key initiatives while guiding overall architecture and development standards
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire engineers to grow in their careers and deliver high-quality, scalable software
  • Establish engineering processes and rituals that promote velocity, reliability, and ownership
  • Advocate for scalable abstractions and resilient agent orchestration that supports rapid iteration and learning
  • Integrate best-in-class generative AI practices including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), structured prompting, and LLM observability into production pipelines
  • Drive alignment across engineering, product, and design in a multi-location organization
  • Foster a learning culture that encourages experimentation, shared knowledge, and inclusivity
  • Champion high standards of code quality, testing, and operational excellence
  • Represent engineering in strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a hands-on software engineering management role, including experience architecting and delivering cloud-native applications
  • Proven success building and leading high-performing engineering teams, ideally in AI or data-intensive product environments
  • Expertise with modern tech stacks (e.g., Kotlin, Java, React, TypeScript, AWS)
  • Familiarity with deploying LLMs and related tools in production systems
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and performance optimization
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while supporting innovation and long-term strategy
  • Commitment to building equitable, inclusive, and engaged teams
  • Enthusiasm for experimentation, public learning, and embracing the evolving AI landscape
