About the role
- Work with the Client Executive to execute equipment and basic services strategy within assigned accounts.
- Independently lead customer engagements, meetings, and opportunity development—leveraging SMEs and other resources to position, propose, and close deals.
- Efficiently qualify opportunities and develop proposals that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Craft and position the Ricoh portfolio to best fit customer needs.
- Assess customer fit, requirements, and financial affordability.
- Lead pricing, proposals, and negotiation processes.
- Propose, sell, and deliver profitable core equipment and basic services.
- Collaborate with matrixed teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables for clients.
- Build trust, confidence, and influence with clients through effective collaboration.
- Clearly articulate Ricoh’s industry positioning and value proposition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5–10 years of experience selling into Fortune 5000 companies.
- Proven consultative selling skills.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Deep understanding of customer approval processes and internal workflows.
- Ability to sell service annuities and manage change orders effectively.
- Demonstrated success using collaboration to build influence.
- Strong understanding of the core product and services portfolio.
- Ability to independently develop and deliver value propositions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Keeps current with market trends and industry changes.
- IT‑savvy with a strong understanding of enterprise architectures.
- High learning agility.
