About the role
- Central interface role between Design, Product Management and Engineering to ensure close and efficient cross-team collaboration
- Develop and evolve scalable, user-centered frameworks as well as core design and product processes
- Support prioritization of strategic design and Design Ops initiatives in close collaboration with the Head of Product Design
- Create conditions for Design Operations experiments, continuous improvement and sustainable process optimization
- Plan, facilitate and follow up on workshops, discovery sessions and alignment meetings with clear, actionable outcomes (e.g., validated requirements, user insights, shared target visions)
- Translate user, business and stakeholder needs into concrete product and design measures
- Collaborate with Research and Analytics, including user research, usability testing and deriving design priorities from usage and tracking data
- Targeted further development of the hybrid skill set through a tailored onboarding bootcamp focused on Design or Product Management
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience (from 4 years) in Product Management, Product Design or a hybrid role with a strong product and user focus
- Solid understanding of Lean UX, agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban) as well as iterative product development and roadmap planning
- Confident use of design systems, Figma (especially lo-fi concepts) and common prototyping and visualization formats (e.g., user stories, use cases, stakeholder analyses)
- Experience designing and facilitating workshops (requirements, ideation, feedback) and strong communication and facilitation skills
- Strong ability to translate complex requirements into clear, visual concepts and audience-appropriate presentations (e.g., with Miro, FigJam, PowerPoint/Keynote/Figma Slides)
- Familiarity with user research, usability testing and analytics tools (e.g., Dovetail, Ballpark, FullStory) and data-driven decision making
- A very good sense for aesthetically and functionally convincing user interfaces; UI skills are a plus
- Experience in the B2B SaaS or Construction Tech environment and willingness to travel for occasional workshops at international locations are advantageous
- Very good German (C1) and English (C1) skills for international collaboration and UX research
