About the role

  • Develop advanced custom features in WordPress (plugins, hooks, integrations)
  • Design and maintain robust, scalable WordPress architectures
  • Diagnose and fix complex technical bugs (front-end and back-end)
  • Ensure maintenance, updates, and security of WordPress sites
  • Implement conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager
  • Configure and validate events in Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Integrate APIs and connect various external systems
  • Optimize website performance and speed
  • Ensure code quality and document implemented developments
  • Collaborate with the internal team to deliver reliable technical solutions
  • Contribute to improving development processes and standards
  • Assist the web team with technical tasks requiring a developer: duplicating sites from templates; setting up and transferring domains and hosting; programming features (newsletters, integrations, automations); testing and validating contact forms
  • Stay up to date with web development best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of web programming experience
  • University degree in programming, computer science, or a related field
  • Strong experience in advanced WordPress development (themes, plugins, customizations)
  • Excellent command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Experience in API development and integration
  • Ability to structure and maintain clean, high-performance code
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • High level of autonomy and technical rigor
  • Good time management and prioritization
  • Proficiency in French, spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of English (an asset)
