About the role
- Managing a portfolio of client accounts within the Minerals sector, primarily across Southern Europe.
- Acting as a key support to our Sales Managers based in Italy.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service by handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating closely with internal teams such as Sales and Logistics.
- Collecting and validating data, preparing and analyzing reports, and proactively communicating opportunities for improvement.
- Processing purchase orders from Europe, managing customer billing and generating invoices, credit and debit memos.
- Collaborating closely with Supply Chain functions to manage the order book and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Monitoring order follow-ups and coordinating material planning to meet customer demand and forecasts.
- Analyzing data to create accurate demand plans and utilizing KPIs to drive performance improvements aligned with company objectives.
- Ensuring timely container and truck pick-ups and deliveries, address payment-related issues, and act as a central point of contact for logistics providers and warehouse partners.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics and Transportation, International Relations or Communication
- Experience with data entry, report generation, and data analysis
- Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Few years of experience in a Customer Service Representative role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Languages: Italian – Fluent; English - Fluent
- Nice to have : Any additional languages are considered an asset
