About the role
- Lead development activities for Odoo 18 platform, building new features and improving existing functionalities
- Customize CRM, Sales, Projects, Employees modules to match consulting sales cycles and project management methodologies
- Develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules
- Manage and build integrations between Odoo and other business applications
- Utilize AI coding assistants to improve efficiency and code quality
- Collaborate with international teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Serve as primary technical owner for continuous development of Odoo platform
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional Odoo development experience
- Portfolio of successfully completed projects
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in the Odoo framework (ORM, Views, Controllers)
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and HTML
- Experience integrating systems using REST APIs
- Proficient with Git for version control
- Proactive problem solver having ownership and accountability
- Interest in leveraging modern tools including AI to improve development workflows
- Located in Europe and able to work within CEST +/- 1 hour
- Nice-to-haves: Previous work within a technology consultancy, professional services, or B2B SaaS company; Direct experience with Odoo 18; Familiarity with Linux server administration and Docker for on-premise application management
