About the role

  • Design, deploy, and manage modern, scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Help clients improve their existing environments by identifying opportunities for better performance and reliability
  • Contribute to application code and scripts, implementing best practices for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Implement infrastructure changes using tools like Terraform, ensuring stability, repeatability, and security
  • You will learn to use Wiz.io to help onboard new clients and improve their security posture
  • Build pipelines and automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Work side-by-side with experienced engineers to share knowledge, review designs, and tackle complex problems as a team
  • Take advantage of dedicated learning time to pursue certifications and stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically using Terraform
  • Solid experience with containers and orchestration, ideally Kubernetes (GKE)
  • A keen interest in Security: You have a good grasp of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, networking, compliance)
  • Experience with tools like Wiz.io is a plus, but not required
  • Hands-on experience with software development or scripting (Python, Go, Bash, etc.); can be from personal projects
  • Communication: You can explain technical data concepts to team members and clients clearly.
