About the role

  • Analyze and optimize accounting and financial processes
  • Identify compliance risks and implement appropriate controls
  • Lead financial process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
  • Support new acquisitions in their migration to the parent company's ERP and implement financial best practices
  • Coordinate and contribute to financial audits in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Support the accounting team in operational activities and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role, including audit, compliance, and financial process transformation
  • University degree in finance, accounting, audit, or a related field
  • Professional designation (CPA or other relevant certification) considered an asset
  • Bilingual (French and English) required to collaborate with stakeholders across Canada
  • Experience managing automation and digital transformation projects in a financial environment
  • Pragmatic, agile, and proactive approach
