About the role

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead the team in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute critical operational improvements focusing on hard savings and improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Ensure that the assigned business unit meets all internal and external Key Performance Indicators on a monthly basis.
  • Establish and maintain a professional relationship between the business unit and its customers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business Administration, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in Quality Management, within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt Certification or relevant experience preferred.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
