About the role
- Lead client design workshops and guide discussions toward scalable, best-practice solutions
- Translate business and/or technical requirements into well-architected solutions
- Own solution design, configuration approach, and overall delivery quality
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders (business and/or IT)
- Anticipate risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive resolution of complex issues
- Configure, prototype, and validate solutions aligned to client needs
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices
- Mentor and coach junior consultants through project work and day-to-day guidance
- Contribute to strong project financial and delivery outcomes
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in retail, wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, consulting, or retail software delivery
- Experience implementing or supporting solutions such as RELEX, Oracle Retail, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of retail processes (e.g., planning, allocation, forecasting, replenishment)
- Proven ability to lead client discussions and influence decision-making
- Experience owning or significantly contributing to end-to-end solution delivery
- Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
