About the role
- Exceed ambitious sales targets by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with advertising agencies serving QSR and CPG clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at agencies, including media planners, buyers, and account directors.
- Articulate the value proposition of our CPV video advertising platform, tailoring presentations and proposals to meet the specific objectives and challenges of agency clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs within the QSR and CPG sectors to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Ad Operations, Marketing, and Product, to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline and provide regular reports on sales activities and progress towards goals.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms for both the client and the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of proven success in digital media sales, with a strong emphasis on video advertising.
- Demonstrable experience selling to advertising agencies, particularly those with QSR and/or CPG clients.
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic buying, ad serving, and performance metrics (CPV, CTR, VCR, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to tell a compelling story.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Existing network of contacts within QSR and CPG-focused advertising agencies.
- Experience with CPV or performance-based advertising models.
