About the role
- Sales specialist in the field for business and key accounts in the civil engineering trade, including proactive sales activities and management of supplier relationships, procurement and price negotiations for both stock and project business
- Project-related bid calculation, follow-up and active order securing
- Collaboration with site management / regional sales management and central purchasing for the strategic realignment of civil engineering within the Southern sales region
- Maintenance of existing customer relationships and development of new customer and industry relationships in the newly established sales region (in cooperation with the civil engineering team from inside sales and quotation processing)
- Participation in planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies as well as organizing and conducting marketing, training and specialist events
- Contribution to assortment and sales strategy in the sales region while simultaneously monitoring inventory levels and ensuring efficient stock management (regional hub warehouse) involving purchasing
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial or technical training in the construction or trading environment or equivalent qualifications
- Professional experience in the sales of construction materials for civil engineering (sewer and road construction), preferably from project- or site-based business
- Ability to work independently and to motivate as part of a team in a specialized construction trade environment
- Strong customer focus, assertiveness and team spirit
- Results- and target-oriented mindset in trade sales
- Confident use of ERP systems and Office tools; willingness to travel regionally within either Upper Bavaria or Franconia (multiple options)
- Native-level German language skills
