About the role

  • Field sales specialist for business and key accounts in the civil engineering trade, including proactive sales activities and management of supplier relationships, purchasing and price negotiations for both warehouse and project business
  • Project-based quotation calculation, follow-up and active order securing
  • Collaboration with branch management / regional sales management and central purchasing to strategically realign civil engineering within the Southern sales region
  • Continuing to manage own customer relationships and developing new customer and industrial relationships in the newly established sales region (in cooperation with the civil engineering inside sales and quotation teams)
  • Participation in planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies as well as organizing and conducting marketing, training and technical events
  • Contributing to assortment and sales strategy in the sales region while monitoring inventory levels and ensuring efficient stock management (regional distribution hub) in coordination with purchasing

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial or technical training in the construction or trade sector, or equivalent qualifications
  • Professional experience selling building materials for civil engineering (sewer and road construction), preferably from project or contract business
  • Ability to self-motivate and to motivate a team within the construction trade
  • Strong customer focus, assertiveness and teamwork skills
  • Results- and target-oriented approach to commercial sales
  • Confident use of ERP and Office tools; willingness to travel regionally either in the Upper Bavaria or Franconia area (multiple options)
  • Native-level German language skills
