About the role
- Serve as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO).
- Lead the identification and mapping of clinical value streams.
- Ensure optimization of clinical activities and information flow for High Reliability Organization (HRO).
- Coordinate process standardization for EHR modernization.
- Oversee Oracle Health auto-surveillance quality and safety detectors.
- Lead the coordination of CDS standards with international bodies (OMG, HL7, FHIR).
Requirements
- Education: MD or DO with active licensure.
- Certification: Board Certification in Clinical Informatics.
- Experience: 8+ years of clinical informatics leadership in a large-scale healthcare system.
- Advanced Technical Proficiencies: Deep expertise in Oracle Health Millennium (Cerner) and CPRS/VistA.
- Standards: Mastery of HL7, FHIR, and clinical terminology impact on CDS.
- Governance: Experience leading clinical councils and facilitating cross-functional decision-making.
