About the role

  • Help shape the policies, systems, and tools that will strengthen the future of financial stability in New Zealand.
  • Conduct a thorough technical analysis of RBNZ’s enforcement operations and investigative processes.
  • Advise on, and support the implementation and delivery of incoming changes under the DTA, including new enforcement powers and tools.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in law, economics, finance, or another enforcement related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in the fields of banking, financial markets, law, or at other enforcement agencies.
  • Understanding of financial systems, especially NZ’s banking and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working as part of a large complex change programme.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
