About the role

  • Provide sales support to the Construction Solutions Executives to facilitate new construction sales, maintenance and servicing of new and existing construction customers.
  • Partners with geographically aligned Construction Solutions Executives to provide day-to-day sales support and effective sales coverage.
  • Provides sales support to major customers in the construction sales vertical to improve customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
  • Develops ongoing relationship with key customers to enhance partnership and drive future sales opportunities.
  • Coordinates customer requests for sales quotes, service requests, and job status updates; schedules service requests and other services or requests as needed.
  • Performs outbound demand generation activities into construction accounts in coordination with Inside Sales Leadership and Construction Solutions Executives.
  • Responds to customer inquiries on varying subjects in a timely manner; coordinates customer service needs with Business Unit operations and dispatch teams.
  • Assists with billing related situations such as obtaining credit and reviewing collection reporting to coordinate with the credit and collections department.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate completion of reporting to ensure that all entries have been properly recorded and all transactions have been accurately reconciled.
  • Reviews and summarizes issues on accounts being put “on lock” or being canceled for sales partners; addresses outstanding items and other important topics of which the Sales personnel should be aware.
  • Reviews reports on a regular basis with leadership including customer reporting, month end and mid-month sales reporting, and Sales Transaction Report (STR) net temporary transactions reports.
  • Produces management reports, reconciles outstanding items on such reports, and/or enters client activity within the Company’s Salesforce CRM Tool.
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding performance metrics identified by Inside Sales and Customer Experience and Sales leadership around customer experience, sales activity, and sales revenue.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in call center or sales environment
  • Understanding of Republic Services products, services, sales, and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner
  • Spanish bilingual fluency, in a business environment
