About the role

  • Evaluating and assessing the credit worthiness of prospective customers
  • Monitoring the credit exposure of existing customers
  • Recommending changes in credit limits where applicable
  • Approving or recommending credit for customers
  • Identifying criteria for requiring a customer deposit and collecting payments
  • Ensuring documentation supporting credit decisions is included in customer records
  • Updating collection strategies for new and existing accounts
  • Communicating with Sales and internal departments for information and discussions on credit decisions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 year of data entry experience
  • 1 year of credit, collections, billing, or related experience dealing directly with customers
