About the role
- Active acquisition of new customers throughout Austria
- Systematic management and development of existing customer relationships
- Reactivation of former customers and expansion of long-term business relationships
- Management of the entire sales process from initial contact to contract conclusion
- Analysis of customer applications and derivation of suitable material and solution concepts
- Close cooperation with internal sales, engineering and suppliers for quotation preparation and project execution
- Support for technical approvals, sample evaluations and series production launches
- Ongoing market and competitor monitoring
Requirements
- Several years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a technical or industrial environment
- Strong hunter mentality with a passion for acquisition and business development
- Interest in technical products and a strong willingness to learn
- Field sales experience with structured self-organization
- Strong communication skills across all hierarchy levels, from business owners to corporate decision-makers
- Confident presence, strong closing skills and negotiation ability
- Willingness to travel within Austria
- Comfortable working with key metrics (revenue, volumes, margins)
- Technical background is an advantage but not a requirement
- Good written and spoken German and English
