About the role

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver both training and communication materials on compliance requirements for IT staff and other users.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and management to ensure everyone understands and adheres to compliance requirements.
  • Communicate complex compliance matters effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and their impact on compliance.
  • Manage compliance tasks effectively, including planning and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to processes that enhance the organisation's compliance posture.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of compliance controls and processes.

Requirements

  • Experience of Rentokil Initial IT system is desirable
  • Experience in compliance or other relevant discipline is desirable
  • Displays a responsible attitude to following procedures, keeping records, and caring for equipment and other assets.
  • Is familiar with IT hardware, software and operating procedures
  • Team work - Working co-operatively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse complex situations, identify compliance gaps, and develop effective solutions.
  • Decision-Making: Making informed decisions based on risks, benefits, and compliance requirements.
  • Communication (Written & Verbal): Effectively communicating complex technical and legal information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Project Management: managing compliance projects effectively.
  • Research and Learning: Actively staying updated on evolving regulations, security threats, and emerging technologies.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance adherence and identify potential issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing regulations, technologies, and organisational needs.
