About the role
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and deliver both training and communication materials on compliance requirements for IT staff and other users.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and management to ensure everyone understands and adheres to compliance requirements.
- Communicate complex compliance matters effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and their impact on compliance.
- Manage compliance tasks effectively, including planning and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to processes that enhance the organisation's compliance posture.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of compliance controls and processes.
Requirements
- Experience of Rentokil Initial IT system is desirable
- Experience in compliance or other relevant discipline is desirable
- Displays a responsible attitude to following procedures, keeping records, and caring for equipment and other assets.
- Is familiar with IT hardware, software and operating procedures
- Team work - Working co-operatively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse complex situations, identify compliance gaps, and develop effective solutions.
- Decision-Making: Making informed decisions based on risks, benefits, and compliance requirements.
- Communication (Written & Verbal): Effectively communicating complex technical and legal information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project Management: managing compliance projects effectively.
- Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with IT teams, business units, and management to achieve compliance goals.
- Research and Learning: Actively staying updated on evolving regulations, security threats, and emerging technologies.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance adherence and identify potential issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing regulations, technologies, and organisational needs.
