About the role
- Troubleshooting – provide technical support and product information in response to customer inquiries.
- Accountability / Work well independently – able to carry tasks through with other departments and customers to resolve issues/concerns related to delivery, finance, regulatory compliance, and production.
- Create new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross-selling.
- Build partnerships, trust, professional and consultative relationships, and collaborate effectively with customers and internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and ensure delivery of exceptional service solutions.
- Work with key manufacturer supplier representatives to stay current on technical product updates and market programs.
- Communicate company promotions, programs, and pricing within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the Finance/Credit department as needed to ensure customer account balances comply with company credit guidelines.
- Participate in sales/product training and corporate meetings as requested.
- Maintain accurate customer contact information to support marketing programs.
- Work with the Regional Manager to develop a personal professional development plan and execute it as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional/structural pest management experience.
- Bilingual French/English required.
- Undergraduate college or university degree.
- Outgoing, energetic, and persistent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen to customer needs and present to both individuals and small groups.
- Trustworthy and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional appearance and conduct: business casual attire.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a home office.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a driving-record check.
