About the role

  • Troubleshooting – provide technical support and product information in response to customer inquiries.
  • Accountability / Work well independently – able to carry tasks through with other departments and customers to resolve issues/concerns related to delivery, finance, regulatory compliance, and production.
  • Create new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross-selling.
  • Build partnerships, trust, professional and consultative relationships, and collaborate effectively with customers and internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and ensure delivery of exceptional service solutions.
  • Work with key manufacturer supplier representatives to stay current on technical product updates and market programs.
  • Communicate company promotions, programs, and pricing within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the Finance/Credit department as needed to ensure customer account balances comply with company credit guidelines.
  • Participate in sales/product training and corporate meetings as requested.
  • Maintain accurate customer contact information to support marketing programs.
  • Work with the Regional Manager to develop a personal professional development plan and execute it as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional/structural pest management experience.
  • Bilingual French/English required.
  • Undergraduate college or university degree.
  • Outgoing, energetic, and persistent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen to customer needs and present to both individuals and small groups.
  • Trustworthy and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and conduct: business casual attire.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a home office.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a driving-record check.
