About the role
- Conduct comprehensive operational maturity assessments at production sites to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Develop, implement and monitor a company-wide OPEX roadmap and site-specific action plans aligned with corporate strategy
- Lead high-impact transformation projects in close collaboration with plant management to deliver measurable results and quick wins
- Analyze OEE and other key performance indicators to identify trends and root causes and to enable data-driven decisions
- Provide hands-on support for implementation and coaching on OPEX methods (e.g., VSM, SMED, Shop Floor Management), tailored to plastic film processing
- Standardize OPEX methods and KPIs across the Group to ensure consistent performance management
- Design and deliver practical training and workshops to build OPEX capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan to drive adoption of new processes and sustain improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
- Solid practical knowledge of OPEX methods (e.g., Value Stream Mapping/Design, SMED, Shop Floor Management, 5S, Root Cause Analysis) and a proven track record of improving metrics, particularly OEE
- Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., Black Belt) or Lean Trainer certification strongly preferred
- Exceptional leadership, communication and influencing skills to engage and motivate stakeholders at all levels
- Strong change management skills with a pragmatic, people-centered approach
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on measurable, sustainable results
- Excellent teamwork skills and experience collaborating effectively across functions and cultures in a global company
- Strategic thinker with the ability to dive into details to ensure successful implementation
- Fluent in English required; additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage
- Proven success in leading Operational Excellence transformations in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the process or plastics industry
