About the role
- Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of Proximity Marketing Managers, Team Leads, and Direct Marketing Associates.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, motivation, and coaching to foster a high-performing team.
- Build a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented team culture.
- Lead daily team meetings to motivate and align the team prior to canvassing activities.
- Drive a high-performance sales and marketing culture through goal setting and performance management.
- Implement marketing strategies that align with company and departmental objectives.
- Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the team.
- Develop and execute local marketing campaigns in various towns, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Utilize CRM and department-specific software to analyze data, forecast results, and inform decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs and department standards, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
- Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures across all activities.
- Ensure all activities, including canvassing and promotional efforts, comply with local laws and regulations.
- Deliver comprehensive training programs on sales methodology, safety, brand messaging, and ethical practices.
- Be actively involved in field activities, including canvassing, lead generation, and team motivation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field marketing, sales management, or related roles, ideally within home improvement, home services, or similar industries.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM systems, analytics tools, and department apps.
- Ability to analyze KPIs, forecast results, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to marketing and canvassing.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.
- Full-time availability to work in-office 5 days per week, with active field involvement.
