About the role

  • Unify messaging across channels, ensure consistency in brand voice and tone, and elevate communications with utilities, partners, and households.
  • Execute high-quality technical and thought leadership content, driving SEO planning and execution, and supporting product marketing initiatives with clear narratives.
  • Develop, edit, and refine copy across campaigns, social, web, and external communications—ensuring consistency in tone, clarity, and compliance with legal/brand standards.
  • Create and refine industry thought leadership content, including white papers, position papers, case studies, social posts, and executive blogs.
  • Support product marketing initiatives by aligning messaging with brand narratives and strategic campaigns.
  • Lead SEO planning and execution: build keyword strategies and content roadmaps; optimize blog, web, and campaign content for SEO; partner with digital/paid media; track performance and adjust strategy.
  • Act as a system-level thinker, ensuring content ladders up to Renew Home’s broader positioning and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with legal/compliance to streamline approvals and ensure accuracy.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content development, test/refine messaging frameworks, and scale content production.
  • Help build and maintain a library of approved narratives, templates, and reusable content blocks.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, and SEO execution (agency or in-house).
  • Exceptional writer/editor with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate language.
  • Strong grasp of both B2B messaging (utilities, OEMs, policy) and broader brand marketing narratives.
  • Demonstrated experience producing thought leadership and campaign content across multiple formats.
  • Experience in SEO strategy and execution: keyword research, on-page optimization, linking strategies, and SEO-focused content planning.
  • Systems thinker who ensures copy contributes to consistent, strategic storytelling.
  • Skilled at managing cross-functional input from Marketing, Comms, and Legal.
  • Bias toward clarity, brevity, and impact.
  • Prior experience in energy, climate tech, SaaS, or similarly technical/regulated industries preferred.
