About the role

  • Conduct in-depth research into assigned eCommerce brands to understand their products, audiences, and business models
  • Analyse competitor advertising strategies to identify gaps, opportunities, and winning angles
  • Use research and insights into human psychology to generate strong creative concepts
  • Write persuasive copy for both video and image-based ads
  • Work closely with editors, graphic designers, and content creators to bring concepts to life
  • Partner with growth strategists to ensure creative aligns with financial and marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with a media buyer to review performance data and assess creative effectiveness
  • Use performance insights to refine, improve, and scale ads that show traction
  • Continuously test and optimise creative to drive stronger results and increased sales

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in direct-response copywriting for eCommerce brands
  • Experience (or exposure) to UGC direction, video scripting, or motion graphics
  • Advantageous experience running paid social (Meta, Google, TikTok) and/or email campaigns
  • Solid understanding of performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, ROAS, CPA, with a data-led approach
  • Strong grasp of advertising psychology, persuasion techniques, and conversion strategies
  • Ability to analyse competitor ads and extract actionable insights
