About the role

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers and New Business sales professionals (up to 7)
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and deal support
  • Recruit, onboard and retain high‑quality sales talent
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and performance‑driven team environment
  • Act as an escalation point for complex deals and customer issues
  • Deliver growth and achieve sales targets across new business and existing accounts
  • Support the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through negotiation and close
  • Build and maintain a strong, well‑qualified pipeline
  • Identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive activity
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and performance reporting
  • Personally manage a small portfolio of strategic clients
  • Build trusted, long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Develop and execute account plans to maximise customer value and growth
  • Act as a trusted advisor, aligning customer needs to data‑driven solutions
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Work closely with internal teams including Product, Marketing, Sales Operations and Customer Support

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales within complex, solution‑based environments
  • Demonstrated success managing and coaching sales teams
  • Strong track record of closing deals and growing strategic accounts
  • Consultative selling mindset with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Excellent opportunity, pipeline and forecast management skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with personal sales delivery
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers or strategic partners (desirable)
  • Exposure to data, information, or technology‑led solutions (desirable)
  • Experience collaborating with product or go‑to‑market teams (desirable)
