About the role
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers and New Business sales professionals (up to 7)
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and deal support
- Recruit, onboard and retain high‑quality sales talent
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and performance‑driven team environment
- Act as an escalation point for complex deals and customer issues
- Deliver growth and achieve sales targets across new business and existing accounts
- Support the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through negotiation and close
- Build and maintain a strong, well‑qualified pipeline
- Identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive activity
- Contribute to sales forecasting and performance reporting
- Personally manage a small portfolio of strategic clients
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders
- Develop and execute account plans to maximise customer value and growth
- Act as a trusted advisor, aligning customer needs to data‑driven solutions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Work closely with internal teams including Product, Marketing, Sales Operations and Customer Support
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales within complex, solution‑based environments
- Demonstrated success managing and coaching sales teams
- Strong track record of closing deals and growing strategic accounts
- Consultative selling mindset with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Excellent opportunity, pipeline and forecast management skills
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with personal sales delivery
- Experience working with large enterprise customers or strategic partners (desirable)
- Exposure to data, information, or technology‑led solutions (desirable)
- Experience collaborating with product or go‑to‑market teams (desirable)
