About the role
- Monitor and analyse regulatory developments, legislative reforms, regulatory guidance, enforcement actions, and relevant case law within financial services compliance.
- Assess the impact of regulatory change on existing content and plan timely updates, enhancements, or rewrites.
- Draft, edit, and structure regulatory compliance content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and practical usability for customers.
- Ensure content is kept current through regular reviews, scheduled updates, and reactive change management.
- Develop a strong understanding of the portfolio, including target market, authors, positioning, structure, and development needs.
- Implement subject matter knowledge and customer insights to deliver content that ensures currency, relevance, and accessibility across products.
- Identify and implement plans to harvest, refresh, or discontinue underperforming modules.
- Develop and communicate the value proposition of all modules within the portfolio.
- Support new content development proposals and the implementation of new content and titles within financial services and adjacent practice areas and/or jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- 3–4 years’ experience in content development, legal publishing, regulatory compliance, or a related role.
- Prior experience in financial services regulatory compliance is mandatory.
- Strong drafting and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory material into clear, practical content.
- Good understanding of publishing workflows, editorial processes, and content management systems.
- Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a fast‑changing regulatory environment.
