About the role
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close new, upsell, and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Develop and execute a clear sales strategy for your territory.
- Build a strong pipeline and maintain accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
- Conduct regular reviews of your sales strategy and progress.
- Lead deal negotiations and manage the full sales cycle.
- Achieve annual revenue and performance targets for your business unit.
- Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with key decision‑makers.
- Conduct regular meetings to understand customer goals and align solutions to their needs.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and ensure seamless communication across teams.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve customer loyalty and product adoption.
- Use CRM tools to manage customer data and provide actionable insights.
- Partner with account management and other teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
- Contribute to customer retention by identifying growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Maintain up‑to‑date CRM records, including opportunity status and pipeline details.
- Participate in weekly planning, review sessions, and team activities to support continuous improvement.
- Apply product and industry knowledge to help customers make informed decisions.
Requirements
- Experience in sales, preferably in software or technology environments.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Experience using CRM and sales‑enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Seismic, Gong, or similar).
- Ability to present effectively both in person and online.
- Strong critical‑thinking, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience using AI‑based tools to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with hybrid or field‑based selling environments.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
