💰 $78,800 - $131,300 per year

About the role

  • Driving new business by sourcing, qualifying and closing new accounts within the investment and regulatory compliance market.
  • Building and executing strategic account plans that include market research, stakeholder mapping and tailored outreach.
  • Creating opportunities through proactive outbound activity including calls, emails and social outreach.
  • Delivering clear and compelling product demonstrations that highlight the value of Blue Skies regulatory and compliance solutions.
  • Educating and advancing leads from Marketing and Sales Development into sales opportunities.
  • Developing strong relationships with decision makers including compliance officers, risk leaders, operations executives and legal teams.
  • Meeting monthly and quarterly new business targets that focus on new revenue and new client acquisition.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management using Salesforce to track activities, forecast deals and manage handoffs.
  • Staying informed on the regulatory landscape, competitor offerings and the changing needs of investment and fund clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent sales experience.
  • Two or more years of B2B sales experience with experience selling SaaS or data driven solutions strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development including prospecting, pipeline creation and closing.
  • Strong communication, presentation and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and time management abilities.
  • Experience working with customers in the financial services, securities or investment management market is strongly preferred, especially within regulatory and compliance environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Comfortable with up to 20% percent travel.
