About the role

  • Own and evolve the voice and tone across the Relay product
  • Write, edit, and refine UI copy—including onboarding flows, tooltips, error states, and feature education
  • Conduct customer interviews to understand user needs and language
  • Identify friction points in the user journey to improve onboarding and activation
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Product Design
  • Build and maintain writing guidelines and frameworks for product communication
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align in-product messaging with external positioning

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, UX writing, or content design, preferably in a B2B or fintech environment
  • Strong portfolio of in-product writing that demonstrates clarity, simplicity, and impact on the user experience
  • Strategic thinking about language
  • Deep customer engagement skills
  • Highly collaborative and able to influence product and design decisions
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Metrics-driven with defined KPIs
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced environments
