About the role
- Act as the principal legal support for vendor contracts by reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts
- Support the Commercial Transactions team in vendor transactions and procurement activities
- Assist in the administration of internal approval workflow system and prioritize contracts
- Engage with stakeholder and vendor communications and manage legal queue of contracts for review
- Collaborate with procurement team and identify improvements in processes
- Provide focused comments on key issues in customer agreements
- Help support the Legal and Legal Operations teams with projects, including process improvements
Requirements
- Three or more years of high-quality relevant experience as part of a legal team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Intelligence, flexibility, creativity, diligence, responsiveness, and excellent communications skills
- Experience negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements
- Experience working with procurement, internal stakeholders and business teams
- Legal degree (licensed attorney-at-law or admitted solicitor) with good grades from a good school
- Solid proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.
