About the role

  • Design, build and maintain software solutions that enable internal teams to interact with cloud resources and applications securely
  • Create applications and tools that provide actionable security items and tools for other engineers to produce secure software
  • Advise engineering teams on the design and implementation of a secure SDLC for product owners
  • Build and operate internal cloud security tooling
  • Apply software development best practices
  • Reduce technical debt through automation
  • Advocate for security improvements and mentor others

Requirements

  • 2+ years in software development (such as C#, Python, or Java)
  • Experience with cloud tech (preferably Azure), DevSecOps, and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn across engineering and security
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience securing cloud-native apps and networks
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and threat protection
  • Certifications: AZ-500, SC-300
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Exposure to other cloud platforms
