About the role
- Design, build and maintain software solutions that enable internal teams to interact with cloud resources and applications securely
- Create applications and tools that provide actionable security items and tools for other engineers to produce secure software
- Advise engineering teams on the design and implementation of a secure SDLC for product owners
- Build and operate internal cloud security tooling
- Apply software development best practices
- Reduce technical debt through automation
- Advocate for security improvements and mentor others
Requirements
- 2+ years in software development (such as C#, Python, or Java)
- Experience with cloud tech (preferably Azure), DevSecOps, and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn across engineering and security
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience Preferred qualifications:
- Experience securing cloud-native apps and networks
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and threat protection
- Certifications: AZ-500, SC-300
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
- Exposure to other cloud platforms
