About the role
- Lead end-to-end delivery of major cross-functional initiatives, from requirements and design through implementation and post-deployment optimization.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to champion the strategic vision, shape the enterprise applications roadmap, and ensure successful delivery aligned with growth, efficiency, and digital transformation goals.
- Manage a high-performing team of project managers, solution architects, and business analysts responsible for delivery across Finance, HR, Legal, Sales, and Operations systems.
- Establish governance structures to ensure program accountability, stakeholder engagement, and outcome-based delivery.
- Drive platform integration and rationalization to reduce complexity, eliminate redundancy, and improve user experience.
- Partner with senior business leaders to identify opportunities where enterprise technology can accelerate decision-making, compliance, and automation.
- Oversee vendor strategy and contract management for key SaaS and enterprise software platforms.
- Champion enterprise change management, ensuring successful adoption and behavioral transformation across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and organizational change management skills, with a proven ability to lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience in business application ecosystems or platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models in a program governance context.
- Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution demands.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, business systems delivery, or enterprise IT leadership.
- 5+ years in a director or senior leadership role managing enterprise business applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in driving large-scale systems implementations or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across global or distributed organizations.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Information Systems, or equivalent).
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or SAFe.
- Hands-on experience with digital transformation, process automation, or system rationalization.
- Experience in high-growth or Fortune 100 environments.
