About the role

  • Oversee daily shuttle operations at Charleston International Airport, ensuring timely and safe transportation across designated routes and schedules.
  • Ensure an exceptional and seamless customer experience for every parker.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of 25–30 employees, including shuttle drivers and support staff.
  • Analyze financial data for assigned parking locations to manage location profit and loss, budgeting, pricing, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships, address inquiries, and proactively resolve concerns.
  • Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Manage 24/7 operations coverage, shift scheduling, and operational excellence across all hours.
  • Lead driver supervision to ensure adherence to company policies, customer service standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to and resolve operational incidents, including vehicle breakdowns, delays, and customer complaints, with urgency and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in transportation, parking, or related operations.
  • Strong focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Client relationship management skills.
  • Airport or transit operations experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and airport safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/dispatch software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, MVR check, and background check.
  • Frequently operate small office equipment such as a computer, tablet, copier/printer, and telephone.
  • Occasionally lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Work performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and support a 24/7 operation, including emergency response as needed.
